Inside the shiny and white professor's lab, a green espeon wearing large glasses sits atop a desk beside a computer. The espeon appears to be asleep but the computer screen displays a list of research information:

Defense EV list Removing EV Points Egg Move Breeding -which pokemon are best learning which moves Pokemon Glitches ((pet project)) -which to avoid (malicious or game destroying) and which to be wary of (glitchy but relatively harmless effects) -glitch pokemon -catching in-game event pokemon ((all gens)) -glitch cities My experience with RBY detailing what ive personally tested and discovered ((not really a guide but you may read and ask me questions about it))
Looking past the computer, you can make out a sign reading 'Kennels and Egg Storage'. Looking closer, you find a list and a notice written in messy yet legible handwriting:
Note: I will only give you one starter. No exceptions. But you are welcome to chose any of the adorable starter companions we have here at our labs. All are at level one and have a delightful array of personalities and natures. Some, like my special starters, have egg moves but not all do.
You hear something stir behind you. The espeon is waking up and notices you with a warm smile.
